Kaoru Rogers is a Japanese/Australian studio based Jewellery and Object Designer and Maker.

After a career in advertising, she completed her Advanced Diploma of Jewellery and Object Design at Design Centre Enmore (Australia) graduating with distinction.

Guided by curiosity in materials, new techniques and the joy of making, she translates what she finds beautiful, interesting and moving into a condensed, often minimal, restrained design.

Her process is akin to puzzle making or assemblage. Playing with shapes, materials, colors. textures and movement. Considering how forms can sway, flutter, dangle or perch on the body.

Born in Japan, but growing up, living and working in many diverse parts of the world, her multicultural experience is always at the core of her inspirations.
